Its that time of year! Time to relax on the beach, have fun in the sun and relax by the pool. But what does that mean for your lashes? No problem love, I got you! Here are a few tips and pointers to make sure your lashes are vacation (or staycation) ready!
How soon before I go on vacation should I get my lashes done?
Lash extensions are semi-permanent, meaning they aren't meant to last forever. I recommend setting your appointment at least 24-48 hours prior to your trip. This gives your lash adhesive time to cure (dry) and properly set. I also strongly recommend not letting your lashes get wet within those first 24-48 hours either. Try to avoid steam, sweating in the gym or drenching your face with water.
Can I go swimming with my lash extensions? Salt water vs chlorine?
Of course you can! Lash extensions are awesome because once your extensions have set, you're good to go. Proper maintenance is key here though, make sure you wash lashes after getting in the ocean or the pool. Do NOT let salt water or chlorine reside on your lashes too long.
*Also as your esty bestie I always recommend you guys use sun screen when at the beach!
