What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are the process of applying thin false lash filaments to your natural lash line with semi-permanent adhesive. These are waterproof, semi-permanent extensions.

What is the difference between classic, hybrid, volume and mega volume lashes?
Classic Lashes: 1 extension to 1 natural lash
Volume Lashes: 2-7 extensions to 1 natural lash
Hybrid Lashes: a blend of both classic and volume
Mega Volume Lashes: 8-16 extensions to 1 natural lash

Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes (i.e. make my lashes fall out)?

No. You cause more damage to your natural lashes when you apply and remove cluster lashes, strip lashes, and mascara! Lash extensions shed with your natural lash cycle. Lashstrology specializes in using only the highest quality lash extensions to ensure your individual lash health and strength.

Will it hurt?

Absolutely not, Lashstrology lash extensions are placed 1mm away from your natural lash line having no direct contact to your actual skin.

How long do lash extensions last?

To maintain the longevity of your lash extensions we recommended following our aftercare instructions. To keep your lashes full and neat, we recommend fill ins every 2-3 weeks to replace lashes that have shed and/or grown out.

Can I get my lashes wet?

Yes, but we advise you give your lashes 24-48 hours for the adhesive to set before getting your lashes wet. Please avoid steam, steamy showers, saunas, salt water, chlorine, excessive perspiration, exercise and direct contact with water 24-48 hours after application.

How long does it take to apply eyelash extensions? 

Give yourself a 2 hour window for classic full sets, and 3 hours for hybrid and volume sets. This time also includes your initial one-on-one consultation and completing client intake forms. Fill-ins take less time depending on the length of time from your last visit. 

 

Should I do anything to prepare for my appointment?

Yes! 

• Avoid caffeine before your appointment. It gives you the jitters! 

• Avoid mascara, eyeliner and strip lashes for 24-48 hours before your appointment.

• Wash your lashes and eyelids thoroughly with lash wash, facial cleanser or soap before your appointment.

• Schedule lash extension appointment either before or 2 weeks after microblading or mircoshading procedures​

Are lashes ok during pregnancy?

Hormones may affect your growth cycle and cause you to need fill ins more frequently. Keep in mind you will also be laying down for an hour or more and may have to move or stretch for comfort.

What type of payment do you accept?

Lashstrology accepts cash, credit card, Paypal, Cash App, Venmo and Zelle forms of payment

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointments?

All reschedules and cancellations must be done 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Deposits are nonrefundable but may be transferred to a future appointment date ONLY if notice is given 24 hours of appointment time

What happens to my deposit?

If you cancel your appointment before the 24 hour deadline but do not have a tentative date for your reschedule, we will hold your deposit for 5 days. After 5 days your deposit is considered a forfeiture.

How do I reschedule?

Tardiness and grace period...

There is a 10 min grace period for all appointments, after 10 a $50 late fee is accrued. After 15 minutes your appointment will be canceled and deposit will be forfeited. Rebookings must be made online. ​
